Underwriter III

Take your evaluation and analysis expertise and apply it toward the residential loan packages that are submitted to Union Bank for approval. In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the approval process, leading to the possible sale of these loans within the Secondary Market
  • Determine borrowers' credit worthiness
  • Research the acceptability of properties offered as security in real estate loan transactions

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BA or BS degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of technical experience
  • A minimum of five years of manual underwriting experience for residential mortgages, with supervisory experience preferred.

Senior Residential Loan Processor

You will be responsible for a loan's entire process through funding, so your adeptness in top-notch research accuracy will be an asset as you:

  • Assemble information on both borrowers and property, forming them into an accurate and complete loan package to be submitted to Underwriting
  • Issue final loan approvals in accordance to determined approval authority
  • Use your warm and knowledgeable demeanor to help instill confidence in customers, escrow departments, title companies and all applicable bank personnel

The ideal, well-organized and detail-oriented candidate will possess:

  • A high-school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of direct Residential Loan processing or comparable experience
  • Strong customer-service orientation, plus the ability to clearly communicate is a must

Residential Loan Closer/Funder

Bring your expertise to ensure compliance with applicable bank policies, investor requirements, and Federal and State regulations in closing residential loans. In this role you will:

  • Review and audit signed loan documents, ensure closing conditions meet guidelines.
  • Fund loan, wire funds, update system, and notify escrow with funding figures.
  • Communicate and follow-up with escrow, mortgage consultants, brokers, and other business partners.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in residential loan closing experience.
  • Must be able to close/fund loans within a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
